For those 11 pitchers, they had a combined 3.84 ERA in 65.2 innings pitched. Their average game score was a 53.
To be honest, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. You take out the Mark Redman, A.J. Burnett, and Matt Morris (three guys shouldn’t be starting a World Series game on four days rest, let alone three) starts, and the rest have represented themselves well.
I am confident tonight Carpenter will pitch into the sixth inning tonight. Six innings, six hits, two runs, two walks, and five K’s tonight for Carpenter. That’s my prediction.

My God, you had Carp’s pitching line pegged almost perfectly!
One of my best predictions ever. Felt really good about that one too.
Scarily accurate prediction of Carpenter’s stats. Way to go!
