A couple of weeks ago, we ran a poll that asked our audience “Where will Prince Fielder sign?” After a record number of votes, here are the results…

37.5 percent of you think Fielder will end up with the Chicago Cubs. I don’t know. If Fielder is willing to accept a shorter year deal with a higher annual average salary, then I think the Cubs are a logical choice.

However, I just get the feeling that Fielder will end up in the American League West with either the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers with the Mariners being the more likely destination for Fielder. They have the bigger need for Fielder and I could see them breaking the bank for the big slugger.
