  • In the series finale, Brandon Woodruff goes for the Brewers versus Dillon Peters for the Marlins. Woodruff is 1-2 with a 3.14 ERA in 28 2/3 innings, while Peters has a 2.50 ERA and allowed only one home run in 18 innings.

The Marlins had a great one-two combo offensively in Marcell Ozuna and Giancarlo Stanton. Ozuna has 33 home runs and 110 RBI, while MVP candidate Stanton has 54 home runs and 113 RBI. Dee Gordon has been an excellent at the top of the order, batting .304 with 52 stolen bases.

For the Brewers, Travis Shaw and Eric Thames lead the power attack with 29 home runs. Domingo Santana has been consistent with 20 home runs and 71 RBI, while Ryan Braun has 15 home runs and an .820 OPS.

The Marlins are playing for pride and could play spoilers against a Brewers team fighting for a playoff spot. The Brewers have the potential to sweep, but look for the Marlins to edge the Brewers on either Saturday or Sundays games.
