Preview Phillies vs Braves 22 September 2017

In this National League East match up, the third place Braves take on the last place Phillies. Although in last place, the Phillies have played well lately, winners of seven of their last ten games.

Playing for pride, they need to win three of their last 11 to avoid a 100-loss season. The Braves have been average lately, going 5-5 over their last ten games.

This series of games starts on the 22nd September @ Braves.

  • In Friday’s match up, the Phillies will send Ben Lively to the mound versus R.A. Dickey for the Braves. Lively is 2-1 over the last four starts and is 3-6 with a 3.94 ERA for the season. The 42-year old Dickey is 9-10 with a 4.41 ERA and is 1-2 over his last four.
